Visa Information
Foreigners wishing to enter the Korea to attend The 14th Asia-Pacific Conference on Near-field
Optics (APNFO 14) must possess a valid passport. Visitors for sightseeing or transit with confirmed
outbound tickets may stay in Korea up to 30 days without visas, except those from certain countries.
Any visitor from a country that has no diplomatic relations or no special visa exemption with Korea
should obtain an entry visa before coming to Korea. If you are uncertain as to the requirements for
entry visas to the Korea, please contact the Korean Embassy or the consulate nearest to you as soon
as possible.
K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)
Nationals of countries/regions eligible for visa-free entry are required to get K-ETA approval to
board the flight bound for the Republic of Korea. K-ETA approval should be applied at least 72 hours
prior to boarding the flight bound. You can apply for K-ETA website (www.k-eta.go.kr) or mobile app
(K-ETA).

Invitation Letter
An official invitation letter will be sent by the secretariat of APNFO 14 upon request. The visa
application is the sole responsibility of the participants. To request an official invitation
letter, participants should first complete the registration process. After completing the online
registration process with payment, please contact the secretariat by email (apnfo@apnfo14.org).
